Bigpond Email is not syncing with Outlook

  Wrong Bigpond password: Your outlook will not able to synchronise with Bigpond account password if not updated. For this you have to go to the outlook settings and update your Bigpond password.

 

  Incorrect server settings: Your outlook will stop syncing with outlook if your Bigpond webmail server settings are wrong or incorrect. To fix this problem you have to update your correct Bigpond webmail server settings.

Security type: SSL/TLS

 

Pop server: pop.telstra.com

Port number: 995

Security type: SSL/TLS

 

Outgoing

Smtp server: smtp.telstra.com

Port number:465 or 587

Security type: SSL/TLS

 

  Internet problem: if your internet is not working then your outlook won’t be able to communicate with Bigpond server. To fix this problem always check with your internet connection.

 

  VPN: VPN (virtual private network) creates barrier between outlook and Bigpond server. While accessing Bigpond email through outlook turn of the VPN.
