Can’t see my emails in Bigpond webmail account ?

 After Telstra have retired Bigpond brand, Bigpond mail user experiencing issue like they can’t see incoming mails in Bigpond webmail account.

Let’s discuss the reason of the problem and solution for it

Bigpond Junk folder: Sometimes due to technical glitch or to many emails sent my domain holder goes to junk folder even mail is genuine so please check your junk folder box.

Bigpond Filtering and Forwarding Rules: Check with your Bigpond mail filter and forwarding rules in the settings of account to make sure your email don’t have filter system or forwarding setup to different mail account. For this go to mail settings and disable mail forwarding.

Bigpond Spam Settings: Check your spam settings to make sure the mail you expecting from send mail address or domain is not marked as spam. If it is than remove it from box.

Bigpond POP / IMAP Settings: Do you access Bigpond mail by outlook or mac mail than check your IMAP or POP settings are mentioned properly to download emails successfully.

Web browser: Sometimes to many cookies or slow internet or outdated web browser. To fix the problem clean the browser cookies and cache and make sure its updated time to time.

Antivirus and firewall: If you are unable to load Telstra website but its working after antivirus or firewall disabled than add Bigpond Telstra mail website in whitelist. If you don’t know how to do that than contact Bigpond Customer Care.
