Outlook mail app rejecting Bigpond mail password

 Outlook is one if the best using software to access email in laptop, desktop or smart phones. Telstra internet users also use Bigpond mail through outlook mail app. But the issue is after changing Bigpond mail password, Outlook does not accept new password. There is very simple solution to fix the problem but if users do not know about the solution than find below how to solve the problem

If Outlook does not accept Bigpond mail password than you must use app generated password while setup Bigpond account in outlook. Follow steps mention below.

 

Generate app specific password In Bigpond

1.  Simply go to Bigpond or Telstra website in sign page

2.  User Bigpond mail address as username

3.  Use Bigpond mail password created by you

4.  Go to settings icon at left side menu in dashboard

5.  Select mail settings

6.  Click app generated password

7.  Mention tag like outlook while generate app specific password

8.  Click copy clipboard or copy password

9.  Now to Outlook mail app

10.  Paste copy app specific password while setup Bigpond mail

11.  Go to Inbox check email with start coming if not than click on send or receive option
