How Do I Change My BigPond Email Address?

 BigPond (now part of Telstra) does not allow changes to existing email addresses. To create a new BigPond email address, visit the Telstra website. Go to the Telstra email option and click on the ‘Create new account’ option. Choose a new email address and account details, protected with a password.

Once your new email account is active, you will likely want to transfer important emails, contacts, and settings from your old account to the new one. This process typically involves backing up data from the previous account and restoring it to the new account using tools in the email service or software designed for email data migration.

After creating your new account and moving your data, notify your contacts of your new email address. Additionally, update any accounts and services registered with your old BigPond email address that use it as a contact or recovery email.
