  In Windows Mail, a Bigpond email is set up to provide you with seamless inbox access anytime you use your Windows device. This can be done by launching the Mail program on your computer and selecting Settings with the gear icon on it. Navigate to Manage Accounts, and then Add Account. Select Other Account (POP, IMAP) from the options provided. Fill in your Bigpond email address like this: yourname@bigpond.com, and your password. In cases when Windows Mail is unable to configure the settings automatically, go to manual setup. In terms of the incoming mail server, IMAP is the option to select, and is configured as imap.telstra.com at port 993 SSL. An alternative configuration for this would be if POP is preferred, then the configuration will be pop.telstra.com at port 995.
